Welcome

"

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me...

"

- Matthew 25:35

Welcome!

Adullam Christian Fellowship is a small group of believers, centered in Nishinomiya City Japan. Our services are generally bi-lingual, and we meet Sunday afternoons from 2:00 and Thursday evenings from 7:30. We actively seek to share the gospel and see all believers grow in their understanding and faith. Our fellowship includes families with kids and babies. We encourage older children to join in the service if they are able, and provide a Sunday school for the younger ones. Visitors are always welcome. We endeavor to style our services focused on the four principles of Acts 2:42:

And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

On the Website

In time, we hope to post a collection of audio MP3s, articles and sermons that will encourage the body of Christ in their faith and confidence in the bible. Please make use of what you find.

Bible study Seminars

From time to time, Adullam Gospel Church hosts open bible study seminars in Osaka, Nagoya and elsewhere. These are open to anyone and we encourage everyday Christians like ourselves, to learn how to get deeper into the treasures of the WORD. We use and emphasize the traditional first century Hebrew method of bible study, sometimes referred to as ‘midrash’, as a systematic way of studying and interpreting scripture. We also commonly look at bible prophecy and its inseparable relation to historical and current events. See the website for the details of upcoming meetings. In previous years, these meetings have been a great help to many, especially enabling them to understand the more difficult passages of the bible.

Apologetics

Modern society’s faith in evolution and materialism keep many from taking the bible seriously. Adullam Christian Fellowship regularly produces apologetic material and holds public presentations demonstrating the truth of the bible through science, history and archaeology. We may not be experts, but we do look at the evidence provided by researchers in these fields and see how the bible proves to be scientifically and historically accurate, far beyond most people’s expectations. Sometimes these outreaches are church affiliated events, and other times they are non-church affiliated, focusing upon science and archaeology, and are held in community centers in the hope of reaching a wider audience. In either case, the claims of the bible are put to the test of science and reason. We encourage you to invite your friends to these, as an open and honest look at the claims of the bible and a great way to introduce our faith to those who do not yet know it.
